Ambrosia Maple refers to any Maple that has been infested by Ambrosia Beetles. The Beetles often leave distinctive markings, streaks and tiny boreholes in the wood. This results in decorative features that give the wood more character.

  • Our handcrafted boxes can be used to hold potpourri, or they can be used to store small trinkets. These unique boxes come in a variety of sizes, shapes and styles. The top of each box has a decorative pewter lid. They are finished using natural oils, shellac, and waxes.

     

    Care and maintenance is easy. Never immerse in water, clean with a damp rag. Any wax used to polish or shine fine furniture will refresh the finish. We also sell two varieties of wood polishing paste for cutting boards and other hand turned wood items. The first is a combination of mineral oil, bee’s wax, and plant based waxes. The second is Vegan friendly and only contains ingredients derived or extracted from plants.
